Choosing to sail on board Blue Clipper in the Caribbean is something special. Unlike huge cruise ships, Blue Clipper is small enough to get into the remote and isolated islands and keep away from the busy crowds from the Tall Ships. With only 12 guests on board you can expect a personal and intimate service, where great attention is paid to making sure your voyage exceeds your expectations.
The Leeward islands, extending from Anguilla in the North to Dominica in the south are some of the world's most paradisical islands and sought after Caribbean destinations. They are the northern islands of the Lesser Antilles chain, located where the north-eastern Caribbean Sea meets the western Atlantic Ocean.
At the top of the chain of islands is Anguilla, one of the Caribbean's best-kept secrets. It is one of the smallest islands although not overly populated. The white-sandy beaches here are pristine and the landscape is virtually untouched making it a perfect escape from the droves of sun-loving tourists.
Like Anguilla, the Island of St martin (St Maarten) is small in size. It is in fact one of the smallest islands to be divided by two nations, the French and the Dutch. Although the island falls under these two governments, the great influence of European style mixed with Caribbean traditions make St Martin a truly unique destination.
The tiny island of St Barts, Saba and St Eustatius are also a fantastic area for sailing, with small secluded anchorages and serene coves to relax in.
South of Saba, lie the beautiful islands of St Kitts, Nevis, Montserrat and Barbuda. Each, a tropical haven with deserted beaches, stunning coral reefs and unspoiled landscapes.
Other islands to explore include Antigua, Guadeloupe and Dominica.
